Does the U.S. Need a Regime Change?

"In 2016, I'm going to leave it all out on the field. Wherever there's an opportunity, I'm going to take it." ~ Obama

The idea of regime changes did not start on Obama's watch, and the evil dictators who must be removed from power were not always evil dictators. There is sufficient information to research regarding the history of U.S. relations with various countries and their leaders. The U.S. has been instrumental in bringing many of these supposed mad men to power, then later calling for a regime change, and the eventual destruction of their one time allies.

So what changes? Like other matters of money, resources, and power influences, when a player is no longer needed, or when they are conveniently needed for other purposes, they are declared an evil dictator and become expendable. I'm not going to rehash all the specific histories and examples of U.S. betrayal and global manipulation. What?!? U.S. betrayal and global manipulation? Is the U.S. in need of a regime change?

The Sun is Setting

With permission from the original author, I am re-posting this from the Oath Keepers forums.

By Victory Bill
There is a stirring in America. The sun has long since passed its apex and will soon be setting on the days of acquiescence. And with the end of these days, political and intellectual servitude will become ghosts of the past. I dread, yet welcome, the dawn of the new day. For this new day will determine whether my children, and my grand children yet to be born, will become free men and women. Free to pursue their happiness and determine their destiny. It is my firm belief that the coming new day will bring a struggle not seen in this country in over a century. From the most basic of relationships between individuals to the more complex of relationships between the states themselves and those relationships with the federal government will be strained. The coming day’s struggle will shape the future of our country and the future for our posterity. Will this country turn away from our present course, toward returning to the principles of our Founders? Or will individual liberty and sovereignty meet a violent end in the face of tyranny?

For the past 100 years, through gradual yet steady encroachments, the liberty fought for by our Founding Fathers, has been eroded. It has been eroded to the point where the modern American hasn’t experienced true liberty nor could possibly provide an adequate example of it. Notice I didn’t say “our liberty.” I didn’t do so because we have yet to earn it and I’d argue, at this point we don’t truly deserve it. In Common Sense, Thomas Payne wrote, “What we obtain, too cheap, we esteem too lightly:--'Tis dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to set a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed, if so celestial an article as Freedom should not be highly rated.” We don't experience the liberty established by our Founding Fathers because we didn’t endure the struggle for it nor have we been adequate stewards of it. For had we, the country we live in today would be a much different place and this writing would not be warranted. But as it is, we have held the ideal of liberty with little esteem. For many of us have stood atop the mountain, proclaiming how free we are, while ignoring the statists gradually chipping away at the mountain’s foundation.

Are You Radicalized?

Hardly a day passes without a media story regarding the radicalization of persons who are being deemed "domestic terrorists". The question that follows is always, "how were they radicalized"? The answer to this is always "the internet", with focus on social media.

Oh, that evil internet! It must be controlled! Otherwise, we will have radicalized domestic terrorists running amok in America! Shivers!

Mark my words, new legislation to control the internet and limit your freedom of speech is not far away.

Pardon me for getting side tracked so quickly. We'll come back to the internet issue. Let's focus on the topic of radicalization. Typically, we think of someone who is sympathizing with Islamic extremists, but how does our government see it?

What Makes a Liar? The Bill Cosby/Ferguson, Missouri Connection

I suppose telling a lie is all that is needed to make a liar, but the question I'm asking is more aptly, what motivates a liar? There are pathological liars who have some compulsion to lie. Still yet, these are not the liars I seek to understand. The "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show does a segment called "Lie Witness News". He sends a reporter out to the streets or a venue for an event and the reporter asks questions to random people about fake persons or events. Without fail, person after person will lie on camera for no apparent reason other than to seem informed or connected with the bogus story. You can view an example at the following link, but please return here to see where I'm going with this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxCKGACDHNg

We have all heard stories about jailhouse snitches or court witnesses recanting their stories after being rewarded for lying or coerced to do so. This type of lying has real victims and real consquences. There are known cases where prosecutors have entirely fabricated a case against someone and extorted false testimony from a friend, acquaintence, or family member, by threatening to charge them with a crime that carries heavy penalties if they do not cooperate. You don't have to take my word for this. There is plenty of researchable evidence to support my claim. Google it.

Now that I have established how simple it is to extract a lie from someone, imagine the consequences of multiple people lying to affect a specific outcome. Imagine that these people have no beef with the person they are destroying, but the financial compensation for cooperating is too great to pass up. You have certainly heard the expression, "everyone has their price". As I've clearly demonstrated, many people have NO price.

A SAD DAY IN AMERICA

A SAD DAY IN AMERICA
I would like to preface my comments with my condolences to all of the victims in the wake of events recently in Boston.

I have taken a few months off from my blog and facebook in order to focus on activities with my spouse. She does not share the same passion for world events. To maintain a more balanced life, I have repressed my urges to comment on the daily activities occurring around the world. However, recent events have motivated me to express myself if only momentarily.

My focus at this time is not on the details of how and what occurred in regards to the Boston bombings or subsequent events. There is a story unfolding before the eyes of all Americans, yet many do not see it. I am talking about the mass surrendering of constitutional rights. When large masses surrender their constitutional rights, they are simultaneously destroying mine and yours as well.

This is where the blind and the sheep will click off of my blog and continue to remain in the dark and in denial. Go ahead. It’s your loss.

Shame On You Yahoo

Yahoo has disabled the ability for commenting on their news stories. This doesn't surprise me. It is not the first time I have had difficulty getting my comments to post. Now, it appears that a lot of people besides myself have irritated Yahoo with their personal comments.

Recent events have prompted people to light up the internet with debates over gun issues. When those comments include sensible remarks such as "Mexico has a total gun ban, yet 55,000 people have died there from gun violence in the past three years", it does not bode well for Yahoo's apparent support for gun banning. Yes, it is apparent in the way Yahoo publishes every conceivable article that is slanted with anti-gun bias.

Go to this link to read for yourself Yahoo's lame excuse. http://ph.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111213150000AAU4QNi

Yahoo, I am not fooled. The American people are not fooled. We are on to you, and quite frankly, at a minimum, we must say "shame on you."

Immigration and Assimilation

The following was written by an internet friend with whom I correspond in another forum. With her permission and a few minor editing changes, I am sharing it with my readers. Whatever your position is on immigration, I think you will find some very well made points in her personal thoughts. A comment section follows each of my blog posts and your thoughts are just as welcome as hers. A link to a two minute video follows this blog post. Please take a minute to view the video as it highlights the subject herein. I'll leave you now to read on. I hope you enjoy this blog post. Let me know either way:

~By M~
America is a melting pot and always has been. As a native New Yorker my family associated with many different nationalities and religions and encouraged it among their children, me for one. It's called assimilation, a celebration of all nationalities, customs and religions with respect for our differences.

International customs have filtered into American society over the past 200+ years. The Christmas tree - Sweden, eating 7 kinds of fish on Christmas eve - Italy, burning 8 candles for 8 days - Eastern Europe - Jews, carving pumpkins - Ireland, Pizza - Italy, The Statue of Liberty, the most recognizable symbol in the world of America - a gift from France.

We - America did NOT protest these traditions or differences. We adopted them with good will and freedom of choice. No one forced them upon us. We absorbed these customs freely and treasure them today without a second thought of their origination.

France has always been very protective of her heritage. So much so, that they have an agency that interprets the names of new foreign words and translates them into French. This was brought to my attention by a student of French language and culture over 25 years ago. The French did not want their beautiful language 'bastardized' with foreign words, Ex: walkman is le baladeur.

Of the hundreds of nationalities, including my own family, that came to America, they came to express themselves freely, for varieties of reasons.

They contributed - Chinese built railroads, Japanese grew pineapples in Florida, Norwegians built dairies, Irish became LEO's & Firemen in NY, Greeks owned diners, Danish were wood craftsmen etc.

Now there are current immigrants that leave countries of great political oppression (as did millions who fled here to our country at the turn of the century), no work, war torn, no economy, no industry etc. Many leave countries that have no infrastructure, no libraries, museums, schools or even a fire department. They flee to countries that HAVE these things to offer freely. The established countries fought wars and bled to maintain their heritage and culture.

If my neighbor's house was burnt, and I offered them housing, food, and hospitality....how would I feel if they began to change/alter how I ran my household to THEIR way of living, then cursed me for my lifestyle, imposing their will upon me? Would I become a bit resentful of my guest?

Immigrants come as GUESTS! They chose to LEAVE the ugliness BEHIND them, NOT re-create or force it upon the host country!

THIS is the crux of why the new immigrants have problems. NOT racism, but forcing one's way of life upon the host, who has offered them sanctuary and a safe haven for they and their children. How about a little gratefulness, CONTRIBUTION and less belligerence?
If your new home/hospitality is so displeasing to you, perhaps you'd be happier raising your children and returning to your country of origin, again facing the turmoil you chose to leave in the first place?

But do not feel you must impose your faith/culture/nationality upon the guest country. If your culture/religion/nationality was working so well for you, then why leave?

Should I have Food & Water Insurance? What is it?

The majority of Americans have some form of insurance. Car insurance is probably the most common. There's insurance for your pets , home, health, jewelry, boats, motorcycles, renters, and so on.

In this piece we are going to examine Food and Water Insurance. What is it? Who needs it? How much does it cost? Where do I get it? What are the risks of not having it?

Unless you live in a cave, you are aware of the recent super storm called Hurricane Sandy that recently devastated much of the northeast. Several years ago, there was a huge storm that devastated New Orleans and much of the Gulf Coast region. In both of these disasters, government assistance has been less than stellar if not outright negligible.

Let's not lose our perspective on super storms and hurricanes. There are any number of disasters that may occur, both natural and man made. Disasters can happen anywhere, so no one is immune to their effects regardless of status, class, or standing in the community.

FEMA traditionally recommends that everyone have three days of food and water at all times as well as a quick way to grab your important and necessary papers. The latter is based on the premise that you may have to suddenly vacate your home. The former is predicated on you being self sufficient until help can arrive.

What happens if help doesn't arrive? We have seen in the cases of both Sandy and Katrina that many people have suffered or died because help was not available soon enough. I could write an entire other article on government response, and I may do so later, but I want to focus on helping you devise a better plan.
