What Makes a Liar? The Bill Cosby/Ferguson, Missouri Connection

I suppose telling a lie is all that is needed to make a liar, but the question I'm asking is more aptly, what motivates a liar? There are pathological liars who have some compulsion to lie. Still yet, these are not the liars I seek to understand. The "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show does a segment called "Lie Witness News". He sends a reporter out to the streets or a venue for an event and the reporter asks questions to random people about fake persons or events. Without fail, person after person will lie on camera for no apparent reason other than to seem informed or connected with the bogus story. You can view an example at the following link, but please return here to see where I'm going with this.

We have all heard stories about jailhouse snitches or court witnesses recanting their stories after being rewarded for lying or coerced to do so. This type of lying has real victims and real consquences. There are known cases where prosecutors have entirely fabricated a case against someone and extorted false testimony from a friend, acquaintence, or family member, by threatening to charge them with a crime that carries heavy penalties if they do not cooperate. You don't have to take my word for this. There is plenty of researchable evidence to support my claim. Google it.

Now that I have established how simple it is to extract a lie from someone, imagine the consequences of multiple people lying to affect a specific outcome. Imagine that these people have no beef with the person they are destroying, but the financial compensation for cooperating is too great to pass up. You have certainly heard the expression, "everyone has their price". As I've clearly demonstrated, many people have NO price.

I'm going to shift gears for a moment to an example of a different type of lying, but I promise to tie everything together neatly in the end. The recent events in Ferguson, Missouri left many Americans scratching their heads. With months to prepare for the grand jury decision and any unrest that may ensue, everyone from president obama to govenor Nixon, and both local and federal law enforcement and first responders, failed to perform or uphold promises to protect persons and property. I don't need to outline the many failures as they too are well documented. It seems to any rational person that there was a planned coordination of failure. A big lie, if you will.

Why on earth would government bodies collude to allow such law breaking with so much carnage and so many victims? Why would they allow the stepfather to incite a riot by calling to burn this place down, only to turn their supposed lawful authority on the Oath Keepers who showed up with cool heads, common sense, and lawful means of doing what the so called authorities failed to do? One can only conclude the obvious. They intend to inflame racial tensions. The reasons why begs a whole new set of questions for a different discussion.

When governments collude to accomplish an agenda, they do so far in advance. All of the parts and pieces are carefully timed to build the scenario and results desired. Most people will not make the connection to a new movie about to be released titled "Selma" and starring Oprah Winfrey. "Selma" is the name of the town in Alabama where an historic civil rights event took place. Winfrey is known for championing the black struggle... and Barack Obama.

There is no need for me to list the primary race baiters. We know who they are. This brings me to mention a man of color who has often challenged his black brethren to shed the black race and join the human race. He calls bullshit on the racial excuses. His name is Bill Cosby. No further introduction is needed, but an example of his views on the 'black predicament' can be seen at the following link.

http://youtu.be/kGqlrVmVULc

His name has been in the news daily since around the same time this whole ferguson ordeal got out of control. Approximately twenty or so women have recently made claims that Cosby sexually molested them. Most claim that he used some type of date rape drug. The media is having a 'convict Bill Cosby frenzy' with the overwhelming 'evidence' against him. Cosby, thus far, has remained silent. He hasn't addressed the accusations against him, nor has he addressed the Ferguson, Missouri issue.

If someone like Bill Cosby, who has been loved and adored by so many, for so long, by both blacks and whites, were to step up and call bullshit on the race baiting and ridiculous behavior that occured before, during, and after the Ferguson riots, it would seriously deflate the agenda of the powers that be. If allowed to bloviate, more blacks may listen to Cosby's rationale and begin to think for themselves instead of being led down a path of destruction.

For all I know, Bill Cosby could be a closet rapist who has mysteriously gotten away with it for many years. So long in fact, the statute of limitations has expired and he must have timed his decision to stop molesting just right. Cosby allegedly molested quite a few women who are very well known in various facets of show business and modeling. These are women of the generation who burned their bras and demanded they are strong and equal. They liberated themselves during the same period that they coincidentally became intimidated, weak victims of Cosby. Ironically, these fierce trailblazers remained silent for years.

Mysteriously, as the Ferguson story dominated airwaves, one victim came forward. Then a second victim. Then a third. Ever so gradual, the flood gates were opened to reveal more and more victims. It seems that surely, one or more of these women would have confided in someone, that Cosby would have been spurned by the rumors and whispers long before now. After all, this was the bold, confident, equal, I won't be victimized, trailblazing generation of women for Pete's sake.

Countless times we have seen actors and actresses that we once admired, whore themselves out to reality TV shows, revealing their dirty laundry and secrets in shameful disgrace. Most do it because they are washed up and the money is gone. They once lived high on the hog and they long for a big payday so they can get that fix once again, even if it is fleeting.

Now, we come full circle. What makes a liar? Better yet, what makes a liar out of washed up celebrities? Perhaps a nice payday will do. It certainly beats lying for no apparent reason, as many will do. There are many episodes of "Lie Witness News" to prove that.

Is there a Bill Cosby/Ferguson, Missouri connection? Could it be that the disconnection of Cosby from Ferguson IS the connection? It's difficult to make a stand on an issue while being overwhelmingly villified, justified or not. We certainly can't have an admired, successful, self-made black man tinkering with enslaved minds. Judge not, lest ye be judged.
