A SAD DAY IN AMERICA

I would like to preface my comments with my condolences to all of the victims in the wake of events recently in Boston.

I have taken a few months off from my blog and facebook in order to focus on activities with my spouse. She does not share the same passion for world events. To maintain a more balanced life, I have repressed my urges to comment on the daily activities occurring around the world. However, recent events have motivated me to express myself if only momentarily.

My focus at this time is not on the details of how and what occurred in regards to the Boston bombings or subsequent events. There is a story unfolding before the eyes of all Americans, yet many do not see it. I am talking about the mass surrendering of constitutional rights. When large masses surrender their constitutional rights, they are simultaneously destroying mine and yours as well.

This is where the blind and the sheep will click off of my blog and continue to remain in the dark and in denial. Go ahead. It’s your loss.

Our founding fathers and their neighbors would have hunted this guy down in minutes with their own security devices, be it pitch forks or muskets. They were their own homeland security. They also never would have submitted to the unlawful door to door searches without warrants or probable cause to search. They never would have submitted to martial law by a tyrannous government. I don't know the facts about who committed these crimes, but I do know that today was a sad day in this country. The sheeple willingly surrendered their constitutional rights while the oath takers became oath breakers. So much for swearing to protect and defend the constitution. I don't need jack booted thugs bullying their way into my home to know if there is a terrorist present...and while I still have my second amendment rights, I am quite capable of dealing with anyone who violates my domain. An entire city was terrorized for an entire day by a militarized force whom used the media to propagate the fear so everyone would submit to constitutional violations. An armed and brave citizenry could have protected themselves and helped bring this to a close much faster. If everyone had searched their own belongings and spaces with arms in hand, this guy would have been found much sooner or at least denied a safe place to hide. But no, the family was too busy cowering in their home as ordered until they were told it was OK to go out. Only then did the bloody boat get noticed. People were calling news stations and telling how their children were terrified. That's because they were ordered by authorities to cower and be afraid. These children will no doubt have nightmares and possibly have issues for years to come. Now the president is on the boob tube talking about how brave and courageous Bostonians are. This bullshit makes me sick to my stomach.

These are the exact same abuses the redcoats perpetrated on the colonists, and the colonists fought back. Imagine authorities showing up at your door without a warrant and demanding to search without probable cause. You tell authorities with confidence that no one is present except you and your family. Then you are treated like a suspect and ordered to submit to a warrantless search. You assure authorities that you have conducted your own search accompanied with your second amendment right to bear arms and that you are quite capable of making the decision that your family is currently in no danger or harm. Then the authorities ratchet up the heat, asking you questions like, “if you have nothing to hide why would you not submit to a search?” This was the exact same rationale of the redcoats and the Nazis. This is exactly why the states refused to ratify the constitution until a bill of rights was added. That would be the first ten amendments to the constitution. The fourth amendment guarantees you the right to move about freely and to be free from warrantless searches without probable cause and to be secure in your person, property, and papers. In plain English, if you have nothing to hide, you have no reason to be subjected to a search or detention.

I will not beat this horse to death. Let’s move on to how our country since the introduction of The Department of Homeland Security has encroached more aggressively and frequently on our constitutional rights. Originally, I was duped into believing that this department is a good thing. Now, I realize how our government touts national security issues to militarize our police departments and they are becoming more aggressive and more oppressive. We are seeing more and more military equipment being owned and operated by police departments. Much of this equipment has been subsidized or granted by the federal government. Local police departments love these free new toys and the training that goes along with them. Steroid Heads who grew up playing video games and blowing things up are more than eager to play GI Joe and feel like a real big somebody with a badge. Do we want our streets to look like those of Israel or Palestine? Why didn’t we send Andy Griffith to Boston to reason with these guys, or at least provide some cool headed advice to the “authorities” there? Oh, the good ‘ol days!

For those of you who think these measures are necessary because the world has become a very dangerous place, I implore you to start doing some deep research into world events, past, present, and coming in the future. You will be amazed to discover the dangers are not necessarily coming from the places we are told they are coming from.

For someone to suggest that our own government may be complicit in killing Americans mercilessly and blaming it on patsies is way out there, right? After you have read the book “The Creature From Jekyll Island”, you will be seeking to learn as much as you can. But first, I suggest you read a book titled “The 5,000 Year Leap”. The latter book will put into perspective what our government should be. The first book will explain what our government is. I did not author either book nor do I receive any compensation for recommending them, just to clarify.

I could go on for days about world events, U.S. associations with other countries, the creation and intents of the UN, and much more. There is not enough time or space for me to detail all you should know. All I ask is that you push away from American Idol and Survivor and spend that time doing some reading and research. At first, you may not see the bigger picture, but if you are curious enough and care enough about the direction and future of our country, for the sake of your offspring and their offspring, you will properly educate yourselves.

I know that time is demanding and we do not have enough of it, but that is part of the problem. Adjusting the time you waste on mindless entertainment could be utilized in better ways. It is not just good sense, it is a duty that our founding fathers charged us with, to be ever vigilant, and we have largely been asleep at the wheel while our country is being driven into a police state as we become more enslaved and subservient to the elitists who control the finances of the world. They conjure up wars and conflicts and terrorists activities to keep you asking for more security and to do away with those evil guns. An armed citizenry is way more secure than an unarmed citizenry. When the jackbooted thugs who blindly follow unlawful orders in violation of their oath to support and defend the constitution have their boot on your neck, you will not care if it is a left boot or a right boot.

I took the oath to support and defend the constitution numerous times. That oath has no expiration. Not only am I an oath taker, I am an Oath Keeper. As our founding fathers did, I pledge my life, my fortune, and my sacred honor. A little research will show that most of the signers of the declaration of independence ended up dead, penniless, or suffered great losses in other ways, such as the deaths or torture of family members, their property confiscated or scorched by fire. They did not back down against a tyrannous and out of control oppressor. They established that our rights are endowed by the creator, not by governments.

What powers are governments born with that you are not? Governments are the servants of the people and are formed or abolished by the people. The declaration of independence states that when a string of abuses are imposed without redress, the people have the right to cast off that government and form a new one. This is not to be done for light and transient causes and I am not abdicating for an overthrow of the government but rather a restoration of the intended republic. How did we find ourselves less than 300 years later bowing to every whim of the government, overburdened with outrageous taxation and subject to fines or prosecution at nearly every turn? How did we find ourselves cowering at the thought of an IRS audit or a surprise visit by one of the alphabet agencies who just want to ask a few questions? If you are not already clinging to your religion and guns, you may want to reconsider. Once those rights are completely removed, the rest of your rights will disappear like vapor in a strong wind.

As for the lame stream media sensationalizing and villifying, here is an example. Tonight on ABCs 20/20 they showed information out of context to imply confirmation these guys are extremists and terrorists. One example was a screenshot from the older brother's facebook page dated September 10,  accompanied by a comment by him similar to “do you know what tomorrow is? We’re going to have a BIG party!”  What ABC doesn’t tell you is that his little brother (the other suspect) was becoming a U.S. citizen on September 11. Yet ABC left it to the sheeple to conclude that they were celebrating September 11 in some nefarious way or for some nefarious reason. How did I know about his brother becoming a citizen on September 11? I have been doing my own independent research aside from listening to the official propaganda stations.

Another issue every American should be concerned about is the lack of Miranda rights being read to this American citizen. The government under the guise of national security and Homeland Security has evoked a recently imposed infringement on our rights deemed by "Federal Authority" to bypass his due process of law and charge him as an enemy combatant subject to military tribunal rather than trial by jury. Folks, this is terrifying to me. If you look at the list of what the government calls potential terrorists, we are all on it. Veterans are on that list simply for being veterans. People who "can" their own food or store food and water are on that list. It gets worse. Under the recently passed NDA, you as a terrorist can be held indefinetly without charge. YES!!!!...you could rot in prison just like the detainees at GITMO who have never been charged with a crime, just for growing your own garden and going off the grid with solar power and other self sufficient means of survival. The government wants you in the system. They force you into the system by making it mandatory to have a bank account to receive your social security by direct deposit. In 2014 the new health care laws will make it mandatory for you to purchase insurance or be fined $700.00 per year for each year without insurance. It gets worse yet again. The government will have direct access to your bank account to retrieve that $700.00. Just like the IRS, they will take it in spite of your need to make your house payment. Wake up, America!

Even Jesus asked his disciples to sell their cloaks for a sword. It’s a sad day in America.
